As conference sponsor, ValueClick has secured Will Whitehorn, President of Virgin Galactic, to be the keynote speaker for the opening of the second day of the conference. Will’s session, entitled “Digital Space” will explore themes of innovation, the inception and upcoming launch of Virgin Galactic and how Virgin’s businesses and online have impacted brands, consumers and they way they use technology. Will’s presentation will be introduced by Carl White, CEO of ValueClick Europe.

ValueClick Panel Debate
ValueClick will also be hosting a senior level panel debate to close the first day of the conference. Starting at 4.15pm, the session, entitled “Obtaining value from acquisitions: buying or buying and building?” will examine the benefits and drawbacks behind merging companies, discuss the impact on consumers, and take a look at the recent mergers and acquisitions and what they mean for digital marketers.
Chairing the debate will be Carl White and panellists confirmed so far include: Charles Berry, Director, Virgin Group and New Media Spark and Marcus Anselm, Managing Director, Longacre. The panel debate will be followed by a drinks reception at 5.15pm in the main conference foyer and will be open to all conference attendees.

She will explain how to create and measure complimentary channels and examine the place of affiliate marketing within the wider marketing mix. A session aimed at e-commerce brands and all online retailers, Mattias Berg, UK Managing Director, PriceRunner.co.uk will take a look at the UK internet and e-commerce space, examining what consumers are searching and buying the most of. Together with a case-study, listeners will learn how to work with a combination of price comparison sites and search to assess consumer patterns and increase the number of repeat customers. |
